Okay, I have a confession to make! This is my second Lush haul in the space of a few weeks. The boxing day temptations got me and I made a huge post Christmas sale purchase on boxing day. However, as soon as I saw those pretty Lush Valentines goodies popping up here, there and everywhere on Instagram I knew I wouldn't be able to resist. So, yesterday, I nipped in to Lush (and I mean literally nipped. I knew exactly what I want and I was in and out of that shop with a bag full of stuff within 5 minutes!) and purchased some of the pretty bath things I'd had my eye on for a week or so.
First things first I reached for that beautiful Unicorn Horn Bubblebar as I just couldn't resist it. Okayy...I actually got two. The swirl of pretty colours along with the shimmer and stars makes it look like a truly magical product. I adore the lavender scent and with the mix of that and Ylang Ylang I can see it creating a wonderfully calming pre-bed bath. I always think the bubble bars are great value for money as I make them last a good 4/5 baths and this was only £3.25!
The Floating Flower Bath Bomb just had to make it's way in to my basket. It's full of lovely, calming oils such as Ylang Ylang and Jasmine so another great product for soaking the day away. I love bath bombs that make a big song and dance when they hit the water and after seeing various videos of this being used I very much doubt it'll be boring. Have you seen how pretty it makes the bath water?! At £3.50 it's a little more than I would normally spend on one bath but I just couldn't leave it!
The last bath product I got was the Granny Takes a Dip Bathbomb which has been on my little mental wishlist for so long! When I first saw this popping up on blogs I was surprised it wasn't a bubblebar due to it's quirky shape and pattern. It has a very fresh scent which is perfect now that we're moving (hopfully!) towards the warmer seasons. I can't wait to try this out and see what it makes of my bath water. This is another pricier one at £3.35 but we all deserve a treat, right?
The last little product in my haul is The Kiss Lip Scrub which is topped with pretty little sprinkles and smells like it should be eaten! I've used another lip scrub in the past and it did wonders for my lips so I know I won't be disappointed. I know they're relatively easy to make and you can definitely DIY it for less than £5.50 but I just couldn't resist!
Have you got anything from Lush lately?
