Lazy Day Eyeshadow

Hello!

I love eyeshadow. I love experimenting with it, trying new looks and I actually feel a little naked if I'm not wearing it. Although I don't wear makeup everyday, when I do, eyeshadow is one of those steps that I never miss. Whether I go for a full smokey eye or just a sweep of colour, it's that product that I always apply. However, sometimes when I'm doing a lighter makeup look, or even just feeling a little lazy, I want a sweep of colour on my eyes that's easy and only takes me a matter of seconds, so here's my go to 'lazy day eyeshadow' picks...

Lazy Day Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow sticks are possible my favourite lazy eyeshadow product because they're so easy to use. Sweep them across the lid and blend around the edges (you don't even need a brush) and you're good to go! I raved about the Babara Daly shadow sticks in this post and talked about how lovely the formula was (and they're a £3 dupe for the By Terry Ombre Blackstar Shadow Sticks!). They add a pop of colour to your lids in seconds as well as being great for waking up your eye area and making it look a lot brighter!

The Rimmel Scandal Eyes pencil is my most recent lazy eyeshadow purchase and I'm seriously impressed! It's lovely and creamy with such perfect pigmentation. I love this pencil for creating a lazy smokey eye that takes all of 30 seconds. I often use this in the outer v, over the eyeshadow stick, and blend out with my finger. It creates a really easy and quick smokey eye and is absolutely perfect if your in a bit of a rush!

Cream eyeshadows are another product I love for adding an easy pop of colour to the eyes. You can apply them using a brush but for a quick and easy sweep of colour I normally just use my finger, then blend out with a brush if needed. There are tonnes of brands out there that now make cream eyeshadows with Benefit and Maybelline, with there blogger hyped Colour Tattoo, being the ones often talked about. I used both of these and love the colour payoff and how well they both blend out.

Are you an eyeshadow lover? What do you prefer?
