I have a little Etsy shop (and a teeny weeny update)!

Hello!

At the beginning of June I finished uni...forever. During my exams I was really excited to finish, be a proper grownup and get a job. A month later I found out that all my hard work had payed off and I'd received a 2:1 BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare degree! I was so delighted! I'd been looking for a job since finishing uni and none of my applications had payed off, but to be honest I was kind of enjoying having a bit of a break. However, after a month of 'having a break' I was getting bored, everyone around me was getting jobs and I decided I needed something to keep me busy soooo I cracked out my vintage Singer sewing machine and decided to try my hand at making some cushions for my room. After a few days I'd made cushions for my room...and the rest! After some umming I decided to try and sell a few and that's when my little Etsy shop was born...

The Vintage Stitch Etc. The planning and name decision took a good few weeks as I was a little apprehensive about doing it, plus I wanted a name that stood out and didn't tie me to only one item. My beloved Singer 99K sewing machine was the making of the name. You can find my little Etsy shop, The Vintage Stitch Etc, here. I currently only have cushion covers in stock but I'm soon going to be adding bunting, makeup bags and tissue holders! It's been up and running about a week now and, although I haven't made a sale, I'm delighted that people have just stopped and looked at my little creations!

I would love it if you could pop by my little shop, take a peek and let me know what you think! If there's anything else you'd like to see in there or colours/patterns you'd like to see please let me know! At the moment I'm using my current Twitter account for shop updates so if you aren't already following you can do here.

I hope you like it!
