Skincare Haulin'

So I've been skincare shopping again, I do have good reasons though! Is it just me that finds that skincare products all run out at the same time!? First my eye cream completely ran out one night, then my toner got very low, my cleanser only has a few uses left and the list goes on! I decided to pick up all new products as I wasn't head over heels for any that I'd been using and there was a few things I really wanted to try! The Body Shop was my main point of call, as I'd been eying up a couple of things in there for a while, but I also nipped to Boots (who am I kidding, when do I ever 'nip' to Boots?!) and also a cheeky stop at The Cosmetics Company Store!

So my first stop was The Body Shop. As a beauty blogger I'm a little ashamed to say that this is the first time I've ever bought or used skincare from The Body Shop. I have no idea why, but I'm definately going to be trying more things from there in the future! The Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil £10 was a product I've been eying up for a while and is well raved about by other bloggers. I couldn't decide weather to try this or the butter version but this seemed a little easier to use, maybe I'll try the butter next time! I've only used it once but it hasn't irritated my skin, I've even used it on my eyes without problems, and it does the job. I decided to buy two toners as I wanted one to exfoliate and one that was a little more gentle for bad skin times. After taking what seemed like forever to decide I got the Seaweed Clarifying Toner £8 as an exfoliating toner and the Aloe Calming Toner £3 as something as little more gentle. So far I really like the Seaweed Toner. It does a perfect job and leaves my skin feeling really smooth after using it. Finally from The Body Shop I bought a product I've been lusting over ever since I first saw it. It was raved about from the moment of release, it even got Caroline Hiron's seal of approval (so it must be good), and it's the Vitamin E Overnight Serum in Oil £12. My other oil actually hasn't ran out yet but I couldn't resist trying it out. So far my skin seems to love it and just drinks it up. In the morning my skin feels moisturised but not at all oily which is lovely!

For eye cream I decided to try out the Eucerin Aquaporin Active Moisturising Eye Cream £13.50. I've never tried anything from this brand but they seem perfect for my eczema ridden skin, I think I might try a cleanser from them in the future. I've only been using the eye cream for about a week but it cleared up the eczema around my eyes over night! I've also seen that they do SPF so might have to look in to trying that too!

Lastly I got the forever hyped about Origins Ginzing Moisturiser £23. My current moisturiser hasn't quite ran out yet but with it getting warmer I wanted something that was equally moistursing yet light on the skin so it didn't feel so weighed down by products. I've used this before about a year ago when I had a sample but never ended up buying the full size product and I'm really glad I finally have! The formula is somewhere between a gel and cream so feels really light. It makes my skin look easily brighter and makes a good makeup base too.
