Review - Barbara Daly Longwear Eyeshadow in Shimmering Sand - A By Terry Dupe?

Hello!

Barbara Daly makeup is something I regularly see in Tesco, however I've never really bothered to stop and look at it. For some reason I've always been put off it, as it's exclusive to Tesco, and moved on to the more well known drugstore brands. Anyway, I recently saw this product on another blog and straight away new I had to snap it up! I've tried cream eyeshadows in the past, but never eyeshadow sticks, and for £3 you really can't go wrong with this product! To me this product looks like a possible dupe of the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow sticks that were recently raved about by Zoella, only for a teeny fraction of the price!

After a bit (or a lot) of swatching I decided to go for the shade 'Shimmering Sand' which is a beautiful pinky bronze colour and absolutely perfect for this time of year. The pigmentation of this product is absolutely amazing. It has a wonderful creamy formula that literally makes it glide on like a dream! I genuinely couldn't believe how creamy for formula was when the product is just £3. It feels really gentle on the eyes and there is no tugging with it at all, it goes on so smoothly. When using it I apply a few swipes to the eye and then blend is out with a nice fluffy brush. It does dry eventually but not so quickly that you have to rush in a blend it out with a brush in ninja speed. I wore this product for a good 10 hours, with a primer underneath, and it lasted all day which is really impressive. The Barbara Daly Longwear Eyeshadow stick is a great product for simple makeup days or days where you don't have long to get ready. It's such a  quick and simple to use but adds a lovely hint of colour to the eyes that really wakes them up. The packaging of this product is really pretty too and makes it look like it cost a lot more than just £3! I think I'm going to nip back to Tesco soon and pick up a few more shades!
