Bourjois Haulin' with a Hint of Soap and Glory

Hello!

Once again I have been taken in by Boots offers and my bank balance has come out a little worse for wear..oops! I don't very often post haul post mostly because I get so excited about my new purchases that I just forget! You may or may not know that a couple of weeks ago I finally handed in my dissertation so, over the past couple of weeks, I've been making some purchases as a reward to myself (any excuse, eh?). I hadn't had time to even window shop whilst finishing off my dissertation so shopping was a nice treat for myself. There's a couple of other things I want to get but they will have to wait until loans come in!

The haul I'm showing you today is from two different trips. In the first trip I bought the Bourjois CC Concealer, Delice de Pourde Bronzing Powder and because I spent over £12 (?) I got the free Little Round Pot Blush. I actually went it to Boots purely because I needed a new concealer then ended up seeing an offer and things happened. I decided on the CC Concealer as I had tried the Bourjois CC Cream and thought the coverage was great and that maybe this would translate to the concealer too. Next I decided on the Delice de Pourde Bronzing Powder as I've been wanting to try it out for a while and have read some really great reviews on it. It's really strange as a year ago I wouldn't have even thought about wearing bronzer and now I can't get enough. Lastly, I got my free blush in the shade 48 Cendre de Rose Brune. It took me absolutely ages to pick this shade as I couldn't remember what I already had. 48 is a beautiful matte pink that is really well pigmented.

One the second trip to Boots I knew exactly what I was going in for and I possible broke a record with how little time I spent in there. My boyfriend was shocked with how quickly I emerged from the makeup isle with my three products in my hand (this was a Boots 3 for 2 offer). I'd been waiting for the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks to be released ever since I saw the first review on them. I ended up getting Peach Club which is a lovely matte muted orange and perfect for this time of year. I'm really loving orange and coral lips at the moment so knew I had to try that shade. I also got Hot Pepper which is a bright orange toned red, also matte, and absolutely perfect for day or night. I'd been after an orange toned red for some time so I knew I had to pick this one. I decided not to pick up any more shades of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet as my third product and instead opt for something I'd had my eye on for a while - Soap and Glory Archery Pencil. I'd been after a brow product that would give me natural yet fuller looking brows and this seemed perfect for the job. I've been really enjoying using it and it does exactly what I want within minimal effort.

Have you tried the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks? I would really recommend them!
