Review - Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - Intensive Lip Repair Balm

Hello!

Sorry I've been away for a few days, I've been quite busy and in between busy I've been sleeping! So, today's review is on one of the lovely products included in the #midsummermeet goodie bag. We were well and truly spoilt with the products we got!

Elizabeth Arden Intensive Lip Repair Balm 8 Hour

I've never tried any Elizabeth Arden products before as they're a little bit out of my price range so was really excited when I saw this and couldn't wait to give it a go. I'm a huge fan of lip balms, butters and creams. In fact, I have more than I could ever possibly need! The Intensive Lip Repair Balm* (Wow, that's a mouthful!) is from the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Range which I've only heard good things about. It's in a lovely little pot which a screw on lid. It's small enough to fit in your hand bag but big enough that it won't get lost in there, lovely!

The product itself is really light yet moistursing and a little goes such a long way! I've been using it for about 3 weeks morning and night and there's only a tiny little dint in the product. It has a lovely eucalyptus scent and is enriched with shea butter, palm tree butter and honey. I've been applying it before bed and it's kept my lips soft all night and they still feel lovely in the morning. I suffer with quite dry, chapped lips and it's really helped. It's also really great for applying before lipstick and leaves a lovely subtle gloss on the lips.

The product retails for £20 and is available at Look Fantastic. The price is a little bit above my price range but it's so long lasting and works so well that I would be inclined to repurchase it again in the future (If and when it ever runs out!). It's also made me really intrigued about Elizabeth Arden products and I'm definately going to look in to trying out some of the skin care!

Have you tried this product or anything from the 8 hour range? What would you recommend?

  2. This sounds amazing! I really like the smell of eucalyptus and in winter my lips get pretty chapped so this sounds absolutely great x
