The 'off duty model' look is one of my favourite go-to styles for the day time. It's really easy to throw together, it's simple yet has a well put together feel about it and really doesn't take much effort at all. It's a style I always feel very comfortable wearing. It makes me feel that little bit 'dressed up' whilst still keeping that casual daytime look. Always a confidence boost.
When it comes to shirts and blouses I'm a bit of a hoarder. I have tonnes in my wardrobe and when I spot one in a shop that I like, I just can't resist. Although I'm not the biggest fan of Primark, their shirts have never disappointed me and the lovely one in these pictures was no exception. The combination of a very light weight fabric and low cut front makes it perfect for the warmer months. It gives you cover whilst still feeling and looking cool. The dainty buttoned front gives it a girlie edge but it still looks very grown up.
I teamed it with my favourite New Look black jeans that are very well loved and after seeing a good few washes have faded a little. Being petite and having a shallow back I struggle finding jeans that fit well but these are just perfect. My favourtie pair of shoes where also added to the mix. Are they a boot, are they a shoe?! Who knows! I think they're the perfect combination of simple and edgy.
The duster jacket was a nice little find from Primark and only about £15 too! I'd been after one for so long and finally found this in my local Primark mixed between a few different jackets. When I find the last one in my size I always take it as a sign to buy it. It's a really versatile piece in my wardrobe and I always feel a little more fancy when I wear it! I particularly love styling it with a mini A-line skirt, combining the short skirt and long jacket gives a really nice edge to the outfit.
